What protects your purchase
Funds are held by LootMerchants until you explicitly confirm delivery. Sellers see the order is paid but can't touch the money.
If delivery doesn't match the listing, open a dispute before auto-release: 72 hours for most items, 4 to 14 days for accounts depending on the seller's rank and track record. The clock starts when the order counts as delivered - when the seller marks it, or straight away on an instant-delivery listing. On a listing the seller fulfils by hand, nothing auto-releases until they mark delivery, so you can dispute at any time until then. Our team reviews evidence and refunds if warranted.
Rate cards update the instant a seller adjusts pricing. No hidden fees, no bait-and-switch, no fake 'sale' tags.
Common questions
Yes. Every purchase is protected by automatic escrow - your payment is held until you confirm delivery. If the seller doesn't deliver, you can open a dispute and our team reviews it manually.
Delivery times are shown per offer, and each seller's public rank and buyer ratings show how they have performed on past sales. The fastest delivery times are marked clearly on each listing.
Every major game's terms of service prohibit real-money trading. LootMerchants cannot guarantee you won't be banned, but our sellers use industry best practices (trusted delivery methods, safe quantities) to minimize the risk. Buy at your own discretion.

Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where your device supports them) through Stripe, and 70+ cryptocurrencies through CoinGate. A LootMerchants wallet balance cannot be spent at checkout today. All payments route through escrow - the seller only receives funds after you confirm delivery.
If a seller doesn't deliver or the delivery is incorrect, open a dispute from your order page. You have 72 hours from the point the order counts as delivered (4 to 14 days for accounts depending on the seller's rank and track record) to raise an issue - that is when the seller marks it delivered, or immediately at payment on an instant-delivery listing. Disputes are reviewed manually and funds are returned if the seller is at fault.
